To vote in the 2020 Presidential General Election you must submit your application by October 13, 2020 at 9:00 pm.

Want to get registered online?

Visit Maryland’s Online Voter Registration System (OLVR)

You will need:

  • Your name

  • Your date of birth

  • Your driver’s license number, ID number, or Learner's Permit number

  • Your mailing address


Register in person at any of the following locations:

  • The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
    201 W Preston St
    Baltimore, MD 21201
    Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

  • At all colleges and universities in Maryland

  • At your local board of election:

    Charles L. Benton Building

    417 E. Fayette Street, Room 129

    Baltimore MD 21202-3432

  • On early voting days and election day! Just bring a document that proves where you live

Don’t have a driver’s license?

Mail in your registration form!

You will need:

  • Your name

  • Your date of birth

  • Your social security number (if you do not have a license)

  • Your mailing address

  • Your signature
